Educators from Oceanside Unified, Cal State San Marcos, Palomar College, High Tech High, and Trade Tech High as well as mayors, candidates for mayor, and employers attended the breakfast panel discussion where the questions flowed steadily from the audience.
The next LNC Alumni event will continue the dialogue September 24 from 5 to 7 at the Lake San Marcos Resort with invited VIP guests that include:
Robert Rivas, founder of Encuentros Leadership, the nonprofit in North County that should become the model for engaging Latino boys and mentoring them through post-secondary success.
Kathleen O'Sullivan, former national director of EdVisions Schools, now leading replication efforts for North County Trade Tech High School.
